Holberts Catering was established in 1972 by Jim & Carol Holbert. Upon Jim’s retirement the business was taken over by daughter and son in law, Susan Holbert Crocker and Jerry Crocker, both CIA graduates.

Ever aspiring to stay current with the trends in food, Holberts has become one of the premier off premise catering services in the Hudson Valley.

Their latest venture is the opening of the Back Yard Bistro, situated in the commissary of the catering business, on route 17K in The Town of Montgomery. It’s charm and sumptuous food has gained the Bistro a four star rating. Nestled near the front door is a charming courtyard, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine or a cup of coffee.

Soon to celebrate 35 years in business, Carol Holbert co founder of Holberts Catering, remains active with event planning and consulting.
